Sweet red cherry, fresh flowers, mint, spices and pine, emphasizing the wine’s finesse, persistent tannins and exceptionally long finish.
Tasting profile
Nose:
Red and dried cherry, rose and lavender, mint, sweet spices, pine, earth and subtle tar. With air, expect more tobacco, leather and tertiary complexity.
Palate:
Medium to full-bodied, with classic Nebbiolo acidity and refined but still noticeable tannins. The fruit profile is more red-fruited than dark and heavy, with considerable freshness and tension.
Finish:
Very long and persistent, with cherry, herbs, earth and a subtle mineral/medicinal character.
