Tasting notes
A wine characterised by notes of preserves, then giving way to a sense of preserved plums on the nose. Very powerful on the palate, with an animal and vanilla character and a marked roasted coffee and slightly spicy finish.” Dominique Foulon, 17 February 1993
The 1973 Harvest
Very dry conditions in August and early September did not keep the grapes from filling out normally. The harvest began on September 28th.
