Deep ruby color. Moderate wood frames very ripe yet still fresh aromas of cassis, plum liqueur, hoisin, jasmine tea and a range of floral nuances. There dense, serious and powerful larger-scaled flavors possess a velvety mouthfeel on the exceptionally rich but noticeably warm finale. The Emmanuel Rouget Echezeaux 2019 is an atypical Echezeaux that is quite interesting in its fashion though with that said, it’s not what I personally look for.
