Great bottle condition. Nose of dark plum, dark cherry, Katsuo, barnyard. Fruits are still alive on the palate which is just as well since you can’t escape those 1975 tannins. Popped and poured this which was a great decision – it fell away after an hour but was still a joy to drink for the 3 hours or so of dinner. Overall, I’m a big fan of 75s – you I’ll get some dried out bruisers but the tannins maximize your chances of finding wines still alive at levels. (cellartracker)
