This wine’s huge, ripe nose of black-raspberry fruit and roasted nuts is dazzling. In the mouth, there is immense body, gobs of chewy, intense flavors, moderate tannin, and a voluptuous, explosively long finish. This Rayas look-alike should easily last through the first decade of the next century. (RP) (12/1996)
